Expect Kindness
Kindness is a choice. Before we act or react; we need to test our thoughts, words and actions against kindness. Ask yourself: are my thoughts kind? Are my words beneficial to those around me? What outcome do I expect? People tend to live up to or down to what we expect. Expect kindness from yourself and others. #KindnessWins

FORE!!! An errant shot, making its way off the beaten path from a hole in one, was on its way. A term I shouted out loud at this past Wednesday’s 36th Annual Ambassador Club Golf Tournament held by the Manchester Chamber of Commerce. It was perfect weather with a great turnout of supporters and sponsors. Could not have been better!

I don’t know about you but I LOVE TO GRILL!! I try to grill as often as possible. I’ll grill up whatever I can get my hands on. Whether it’s trying to clean out my fridge at home, vegetables fresh out of the garden, or a nice juicy steak from the local butcher.

What are some of your grilling favorites?

The national shortage of baby formula has begun to make an impact on our Manchester Community. In times of crisis, we want our community to know, we ARE here for them. Our formula supplies are getting low, donate your unopened formula to MACC so we can continue the work we do supporting those families in need. Keep our supplies available!

Operations Manager

This weekend, Jack and Jill of America Hartford Chapter did a food drop off event to benefit MACC’s Community Emergency Food Pantry. This is the groups second year of having this event and in doing this, it offered kids the opportunity to learn about the hunger in their community, and how they are making a difference in the world.

Our inventory needs change constantly because of factors such as weather, and with that, our unsheltered clients change from cold weather needs to hot weather needs. Please think about donating items such as sunscreen, deodorant, bug repellant, summer clothing and baseball style hats to shield the sun for our neighbors without a roof over their heads this spring and summer.
