Fresh is Best!
We all agree that fresh fruits and vegetables are the best snacks for our bodies. Summer is the season for us all to get as many vitamins as possible through the fresh produce that is available. Why not help others enhance their health by donating fresh fruits and vegetables to the Food Pantry? Donate food Monday- Thursday 9am- 3pm!

It is a privilege to help. The request came from a man who asked if we could help him again. He was a shelter guest twelve years ago, now on disability, he needed a hand with an urgent housing matter. He returned to a place he trusted and thanks to a caring community, MACC could respond to his needs.

Meeting U.S. Rep. John Larson, D-Conn., and taking him around campus was Inspiring. Funding from the American Rescue Plan is helpful in continuing our mission. “This is a great opportunity to work with local government now, I think it’s a great thing to put the money in the hands of local officials because they know what to do with it.” – Rep John Larson, D-Conn

Huge SHOUT OUT to all of the school groups that come in throughout the school year and help in both the Pantry and the Kitchen. These groups of students come to us, work side by side with staff and volunteers while learning life skills to help them grow! We miss them when the year is done and Cheer upon their return!

A spin in the kitchen on Memorial Day… Our guests received quite the surprise when they arrived for their lunch this past Monday. Greeted at the door was myself with Community Policing officers from Manchester’s Police Department offering gift cards instead of a meal so guests may self-select a hot meal from a local eatery. Building partnerships and offering variety.
