Welcome to the our weekly newsletter

The MACC Minute April 22, 2021.  We hope it will inspire you to get involved.

 News from our Food Pantry

With the season, comes great summer harvests. This is the best time of year to receive fresh vegetables and fruit in season. Our local farmers, grocers, and private croppers donate their goods. Our families love the flavorful and nutritious produce that we provide to them.

We accept donations in our emergency pantry; Monday –Thursday 9am- 3pm and Friday 9am-1:30pm.

FY20 in Review… COVID 19 threatened to stop everything we do but close us it did not! It was the passion for MACC’s mission “to break cycles of poverty in our community”, that inspired creative ways to deliver our outreach, food and clothing services. While abiding by the strict safety protocols set by our state, look at what our community did.

Shannon Baldassario

Director of Services

An effective team helps an organization achieve incredible results. The nucleus of MACC lies in the hearts of our staff and volunteers. We work to improve the common good within the community we serve. Each day we work towards accomplishing our objective of building partnerships to break cycles of poverty, with every donation, volunteer and thank you received and given.

These beautiful spring days have given my family and I a little added motivation to eat clean and spending more time outside. We have been meal prepping for a couple months now. I encourage everyone to give it a try. I only prep for 2-3 days at a time to maintain freshness. Focusing on proteins and vegetables is the direction my family have taken.

American Legion Post #102 generously donated two military style backpacks filled with a variety of personal care items such as soap, shampoo, and deodorant. Essential hygiene items that we take for granted, are not always readily available to others. Consider honoring a veteran today, by giving back! All donations large or small are always welcome. Consider donating today.
