Executive Director/CEO

Don’t be the best kept secret in your community.

It is essential that we share our knowledge, experience, community resources and connections with those coming up behind us. Put pen to paper now and share what you know. Talk to your co-workers about what you have learned in your work, both good and bad. Don’t be the missing puzzle piece.

People ask me what I do different that makes my food so good? Truth of the matter is, it’s all in the hands of the people preparing the dish. If you do what you enjoy with love and passion, chances are, it will result in a better product. My secret ingredient will always be love! What is your secret ingredient?

Patti Thurlow

Operations Manager

MACC’s Emergency Food Pantry has many different jobs that are essential to keeping our day to day pantry services moving smoothly. On any given day you may see volunteers; taking in donations, shopping for our families, facilitating appointment times, stocking shelves, as well as many other projects taking place. All of this is possible because of our wonderful volunteers. #VolunteerAppreciationMonth

Who can’t wait to return home at days end to enjoy as much time as we can with our loved ones, enjoying their company and support? But, not all jobs allow you to get up in the morning knowing you’re returning to work at a place not that different from home. Welcome to the MACC family, where home meets work.

Chef Rasheen Mathis

If you aren’t in the mood for a filling meal, try one or two of our delicious appetizers! Our wings are lightly seasoned and slow roasted, than finished in the fryer to crisp, tossed in your favorite sauce. We also have salmon cakes that are pan seared and dressed with our house made creole aioli, and pickled citrus fennel slaw.
