Good for your organization
Many
corporations have turned to MACC to build teamwork
among employees, test leadership skills, and
boost their corporate image – all
while giving back to the community. At MACC we
can always use your organization’s help,
even for as little as a day.
Good for MACC
What difference does a day make?
In only one day, your group can make a huge impact
at MACC. Last year hundreds of corporate employees
volunteering for just one day helped MACC run many
of our key fundraising events. Here are just a
few:
- Crusing
on Main, a single-day cruise and car show
for antique and classic cars trucks, sport cars,
and street rods
- Manchester Race -
a 4.7 mile Thanksgiving Day run
- Fashion
For Good – a
night of fashion, celebrities, and fun
- Walk
Against Hunger – a
fundraising walk to end hunger in Connecticut
Other corporate groups have:
Staffed
the soup kitchen for a day (one, two, or three
meals)
Stocked
shelves in our food pantry
Helped
organize and merchandise the thrift store
Helped
us paint or maintain our buildings
Of course there are plenty of other ways to
help, and yes, we have ways that you can help
longer than a day, should you choose to do so.
