Donate - Clothing

How do I donate?
We do not have a drop off box, but will gladly accept gently-used clothing at 46 Purnell Place, Manchester, Connecticut, every Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. and on Saturdays from 8:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.

What do I donate?
Please donate only clean, rip-free, stain-free clothing without missing buttons or broken zippers. We need all sizes for men, women, teens, and children.

We have a special need for men’s jeans and work suits for women. Clothes like dark khaki pants and white dress shirts are useful for the food services industry.

We also accept small household items in good repair such as dishes, flatware and pots and pans for people who need to set up an apartment or are recovering from a house fire.

Where do my donation go?
MACC gives clothing to anyone who needs it for free. (All a person must do is meet with a client advocate before shopping the store.)

Items may also be purchased by shoppers who enjoy vintage shopping and thrift stores. All sales will be applied to the overhead costs of the shop and any profit left over are returned to the programs and services of MACC.
