Advocacy
Are you having an emergency --
with eviction, unpaid utility bills, prescriptions
you can't afford, or transportation?
Quick help could be just a phone call away.
MACC has a good track record
advocating for people in need. MACC tries to prevent "bad turning
to worse." Assistance includes assessment
and prioritizing, even paying bills.
These are often complex interventions. They might
start with an emergency. But they tend to be long-term.
The idea is to stop an individual's or family's decline
and build a better safety net.
